Our luck was that we arrive
in Hastings just in time when the picking season started.
Finally we found a good job
on a nice orchard in Fernhill.
So we worked three weeks
for the Dames Ltd to fill up their apple bins and our travel money.
We met a lot of nice people
from all over the world, especially some Spanish and New Zealanders.
In the end it was a good
experience.
