As the tree
canopy grows to maturity
we gradually load the tree branches with heavier fruit crops.
The increasingly compact and denser nature of the
new planting systems are constantly balanced with the tree health, variety and
vigour.
Insufficient space for the tree to grow leads to
excessive vigour. This in turns gives a reduced crop yield and poor fruit
quality.
